§ Google Analytics

- Scope of processing of personal data

On our site, we use the web tracking service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Park in 94043 Mountain View, USA (in the following referred to as Google Analytics). For its web tracking, Google Analytics uses cookies. These are stored on your computer, and permit analysis (tracking) of your use of our website and your surfing habits. We carry out this analysis based on the Google Analytics tracking service in order to continuously improve our web offering and make it more easily accessible. When you use our website, data – including in particular your IP address and details of your activities as a user – is transmitted to servers operated by Google LLC outside the European Union, such as in the USA, where it is processed and stored.

The EU Commission has determined that an appropriate level of data protection can exist in the USA, provided the company processing the data is subject to the US/EU Privacy Shield agreement, and the data export to the USA is implemented in an admissible way under that agreement. As IP anonymization is enabled within the Google Analytics tracking code on this website, your IP address will be anonymized by Google prior to transmission. This website uses a Google Analytics tracking code which is suffixed by the operator gat._anonymizeIp();, so as to permit only anonymized recording of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

- Legal basis for processing personal data

Art. 6 (1) lit.a GDPR (Consent), either by registering with Google (opening a Google account and accepting its privacy policy) or – if you are not registered with Google – by explicit consent when you access our site.

- Purpose of data processing

Google will use this information on our behalf in order to analyze your visit to it, to compile reports on website activities, and to deliver additional services to us relating to use of the website and of the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google LLC data.

- Duration of storage

Google will store the data relevant to the provision of web tracking for as long as is necessary in order to fulfill the commissioned web service. Data is collected and stored in anonymized form. If a link to a specific person is nevertheless possible, the data will be immediately deleted, provided it is not subject to any statutory retention periods. In all cases, the data will be deleted at the end of the retention period.

- Rights of objection and deletion

You can prevent your personal data (in particular your IP address) from being recorded and transmitted to Google, and from being processed by Google, by disabling the execution of script code in your browser, installing a script blocker in your browser (as can be found, for example, at www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com), or specifying "Do Not Track" in your browser's settings. You can also prevent Google from recording and processing the data generated by the Google cookie in relation to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available behind the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).
